GimmeSwag Campaign
Waffles began life at the bottom of her clan’s hierarchy. Against the odds, she built the alliances she needed to overthrow the matriarch and become queen of Serena North and then raised a line of syrup-named cubs whose descendants still rule the clan today.
Thanks to everyone who pledged, the campaign was a success and Waffles is officially being produced! Her plush will come with her own collar and a cub accessory, just like the real matriarch and her line of syrup-named heirs.
Every pledge supported hyena research and conservation in the Maasai Mara. Sign up on the campaign page to be notified the moment our Waffles plushie drops. Ships worldwide.
Adopt a Hyena
Spotted hyena cubs are born into specific clans and carry unique personalities from the start. By sponsoring a cub, you’ll support their monitoring and receive updates on their development.
Our cub-sponsorship program is launching soon. Our field team is identifying and naming this season’s cubs now, and full adoption profiles will appear here shortly.
Want to support a specific hyena today? Adopt Waffles in plush form through our current campaign.
